This is the rhetoric that Democrats promote to keep this requirement from ever being enacted. (It's likely to fail)

However....
California has fairly low standards for getting bills placed on statewide or county wide ballots.

And as I was perusing facebook....I seen this video. Where her solutions are ridiculously naive. The statistics and reality of what she says are very problematic.

Ballotpedia shows that it is EASY to get Voter ID in their respective states it is a lie to claim that it is racist as the voter ID law applies to everyone equally.

I should have written into the OP what the video was talking about.

It was discussing literacy and how complicated many ballot initiatives are.

Most people do not have sufficient literacy that allows them to understand the language of ballot initiatives.

If ID is racist....then ballot Initiatives are elitist. Only a top of the line lawyer can understand then.
