I'm not too sure I buy this whole chain of events as it's being reported. We have two Communist leaders (Putin & Obama) pretending to be opposed to each other. But I find it interesting that they were buddies a few short months ago. I wouldn't be a bit surprised that Obama is sending equipment to aid Putin instead of the Ukraine. Just guessing.

I heard an interview with Jesse Ventura recently where he said that "nothing happens by mistake." I happen to agree with him where this Russian "crises" is concerned. There's a purpose behind it all and I would be willing to bet that Obama will ultimately benefit in some way.

I can't help but agree with you on that point. We're so busy being the world's "watchdog" that we've neglected to clean up the poop in our own back yard. But don't think for a second that Obama hasn't been a really, really good friend to Putin. AND, we've had American soldiers in Afghanistan during Obama's entire watch so the Dems aren't saints where "invading" is concerned.

Crimea is connected by land to Ukraine.

Crimea was always a part of Ukraine.

Russia committed Ethnic Cleansing in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine and repopulated them with mostly Russian peasants ruled by Russian Bureaucrats.
