The daffynition used by some academic elitists for the term "electoral integrity" would qualify an unfettered mobocracy as a virtue and a representative republic (including, for example, our own Electoral College) as a sin.

The "study" cited in the OP, as well as its "conclusions," should be taken with enough salt to pose a risk of hypertension.
