This report should be disturbing to everyone, but I suspect it is not. When politics and ideology take center stage in arguing health policy, it is disturbing for many. When politics and ideology take center stage on the science of virology and disease it should be viewed as dangerous by most everyone, but again I suspect this to not be the case.

We have: With this data, the CDC publishes its COVID-19 Current Wastewater Viral Activity Levels Map. The interactive tool allows concerned residents and travelers to view viral activity levels by state and severity.

As of Dec. 28, a total of 16 states are testing for "very high" COVID levels:
  • Wyoming
  • New Mexico
  • South Dakota
  • Nebraska
  • Kansas
  • Minnesota
  • Iowa
  • Wisconsin
  • Michigan
  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Pennsylvania
  • Virginia
  • New Hampshire
  • Rhode Island
  • Maine

My god why aren't libs locking their states down and masking ...ummmmm......ummmmm......

.

And let me guess -- nobody has the flu.

Our normally very healthy priest was talked into taking the clot shot and is suddenly too ill to celebrate the mass. I ask for prayers for him. (God will know who you're talking about.)

We've also had three more priests who have taken the shot and are exhibiting flu-like symptoms. Thank God we have an intelligent Bishop who does not mandate the shot.

Covid-19 has mutated about a million times and is now basically a mild flu.

COVID-19 Variants: What’s New and Why We’re Still Concerned

Just like the flu, COVID-19 continues to evolve every year with new and smarter variants (That's just about it D'Oh!)

Having new COVID-19 variants emerge throughout the year is now par for the course. Like with influenza (the flu), the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19 continues to evolve every year as it tries its best to infect as many hosts as possible and survive our immune systems’ defenses. In fact, the spike protein itself, which allows the virus to attach to our human cells, has undergone more than 111,200 mutations alone since 2019.

Pathologists Hannah Wang, MD, and Daniel Rhoads, MD, explain what this means for the future of COVID-19 vaccination and why we should be just as concerned about up-and-coming COVID-19 variants as we’ve been in the past.

Why are there so many COVID-19 variants?

Does the vaccine protect against current COVID-19 variants?

Do COVID-19 variants share the same symptoms?

What can you do to minimize infection from new COVID-19 variants?

I wonder if public health learned anything from this. Anything at all.

Because now people actively don't care even if they SHOULD.

Just more stupidity from the 21st century--the Stupid Century.
