Repeal the 22nd Amendment and the 17th, too.

Because my example is more salient and relevant, given that gerrymandering skews for Republicans overall.

always an excuse for your blatant hypocrisy. The democrats lost favor and got out voted in more states then republicans but they are the worst at gerrymandering they did it at the federal level from Congress until the mid 90's by federal law. Name a federal law that enforces republican control like the dems had?

That wasn't an excuse. That was an explanation.

You ignoring the reality to pretend to whine about democrat gerrymandering is the only hypocrisy, here.

How about, we bring in an independent council of mathematicians and have them draw the districts?

Sound good? Remember, the Dems would now control the House, if we had done this a year ago.

So...? Yay or nay?

what you dont like democracy?
The people of the individual States decide that not the federal Government except during the 70'sthrough the 90's.

Nope. You idiot.
Sounds like you do...."The 22nd Amendment is virulently anti democratic".
Not a hint of rationality in that failed attempt at a sentence.
Not a hint of rationality in your dear leaders comments......

What all intelligent people say after you split your imbecility.

🥱

Nah. Schmucks like you cornered the market. You idiot.
Really MORON................

"Oh, and while we’re at it, let’s get rid of the direct election of Senators, too. Let’s return some power to the States. Repeal the 17th Amendment".

That's what the 17th amendment DOES.

it is still the people that elect the legislatures retard.
And the legislature will pick someone who will do what the legislature wants, not what the people want.

Such as getting federal perks like: a Qualified State Legislator may still obtain the special tax treatment under Section 162(h)

That was the great compromise. They didn't want to do it, but they had to in order to get support for their new constitution.
That was a built in flaw.

Roger Sherman of Connecticut proposed the Great Compromise. The Convention officially accepted it on July 16, 1787.

I don’t. But, thanks for mindlessly repeating what I had said. 👍.

Too bad you don’t understand it.

You’re the scum who refers to President Trump as “dear leader.” Not us.

See how retarded you are?

Wrong. What the 17th does, you ignorant twat, is require the direct election of Senators. Gawd damn, you’re a retard.

That’s why it should be repealed.

WTF?
"The 22nd Amendment is virulently anti democratic".
It's very evident, YOU don't.

The 22nd amendment, limits a presidential term to two terms.
So, you want a king or a dictator.
You’re the scum who refers to President Trump as “dear leader.” Not us.

See how retarded you are?
Being in a cult is retarded, and sad.
Get help.

No. You’re speaking only for yourself and your fellow retards.

If voters are not permitted to vote, for a third term, for a person as President whom they like and trust, they are denied their say in their own government. That’s anti democratic. And ass suckers like you claim to worry about Trump being some alleged “danger to our democracy [sic].” You idiots don’t grasp that we aren’t a democracy in the first place.

Holy shit. In a race between your ignorance and stupidity, it’s a tie. Yes. I want each state legislature to select their respective state’s U.S. senators. Just like the Constitution originally arranged it.
You're a MORON.
Your opinion carries absolutely no weight, you asshole.
You're FOS.

No jo. You’re a pile of shit and I already refuted your “above” post.

WTF, do you think an amendment is about, DUMB-ASS?

You are obtuse. There was another Constitutional Amendment once upon a time that got repealed later on. You do know that the same mechanism (an Amendment) CAN be used to repeal a prior Amendment, don’t you, you fubar?

You’re confused.

As always.

We had a good way of getting folks into the Senate. But we passed an ill-advised Amendment to change that process. Since it’s a mistake, we can change it back. And should.

And if you shitbag libtards really care about “democracy,” you would support the repeal of the 22nd Amendment, too.

The method for amending our Constitution has not changed, you retard.

Nope, direct citizen voting is how it should be done, along with presidents.
Why would you want the state legislature voting for your senator?

BS.

THANKS for pointing out what I stated to you......................IDIOT.

The First Amendment can be a real pain. Gone!

I hate the Third Amendment

You both need prefrontals.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court is hard left, you should know.

They actually are in favor of gerrymandering for liberal benefit, and like to usurp the Constitutional prerogatives of the general assembly.

Note that for decades, two of the worst examples of gerrymandering were ultra-liberal Illinois and Massachusetts. (Barney Frank's district was probably the worst in the country.)
