Sort of a stupid law. The FBI is really suspect and highly partisan. The adventures of McCabe, Comey and Mueller tells me that we really don't want these characters meddling in our elections either.

If a foreign national has legally obtained information about an American candidate for office, then that foreign national should be free to communicate that information to whomever he wishes.

Seems like a violation of the first amendment (freedom of speech) to me. Or does that freedom only apply to US citizens?
