There must be rules of decorum in place that prevents racist rants and hate-speech being spewed in congress.

What the Gentlelady from Texas doesn't seem to understand from History is that no slaves have been brought to America for 217 years. White men saw to that. They also saw to it that states forming in the territories would not be slave states.

There is been no slavery in America in southern states for 161 years. The remaining slave states in the north all ratified the 13th Amendment abolishing slavery 159 years ago. The last of the few remaining Jim Crow laws ended 60 years ago and there are precious few people living now who experienced those let alone are disadvantaged by them now.

What she fails to see are all the white people who risked their reputations, their futures, their fortunes, their very lives to free black people from slavery and see that they had equal opportunity and rights in the United States.

Further she doesn't apparently know that it was not Americans who brought the slaves to America but it was other black people who captured them in Africa and sold them to the slave traders who were British, Portuguese, Dutch etc., not Americans.

All these things serve to make her appear to be either an idiot or very uneducated person or racist/race baiter.
