Good write up for dementia, though I wish these "experts" wouldn't sound so definitive. My step-dad had symptoms moderate to moderatly severe. He remembered names, important dates past, but couldn't tell you when today. He was a writer and had a vocabulary 2nd to very few. Funny thing was that skill remained until his dying day. Moderate says "can eat" and basically hygeine. Sure, put food in front of him and he'll eat, but don't expect him to open a refridgerator or prepare anything, oh look, a donut. Rare instances of potty issues. Dude was a hero, decorated too. Lt. Col. He'd have been full Col. but he chose not to play along with the CIA, in China. Late in life he played a good game despite a dramatic change of life. Losing your spouse, house and dog is rough on anyone. Put them in a home even worse. The women dug him at the place, they always did. He walked around helpinig them. He thought it was a hotel for the first 6 months. Then covid came, the communists cut him off and he died 9 months into the plandemic.
