The reason anyone complaining about cow methane is an idiot, in that this methane carbon is no greater than if you simply let the grass die and rot, instead of feeding it to a cow.
The cow is NOT generating any carbon.
It is just speeding up the natural decay process.
There is zero from cows, because the grass first removes the exact same amount of carbon from the air, when it grows.
All the cows do is return the exact same amount of carbon to the air.
Cows are zero emissions by definition.

The difference with cars is that we are digging up old, sequestered carbon that was long ago taken out of the atmosphere and now is being quickly dumped back into the atmosphere.
