Ukraine has a right to defend themselves. After 2+ years though, this war needs to end, and/or Europe has to foot the bill because the level of audit failures and increase to the U.S debt doesn't make American citizens confident in protecting Ukraine, even as they need to fight for their land.
Reagan was correct about Russia. Unfortunately he wasn't aware that so many allied nations also violated rights. There is plenty of grey in good and bad nations.
Ukraine also has civil liberty and corruption issues which doesn't bode well for having the West support them for such a long period of time, especially as China is on the military rise. Hopefully if an agreement is reached, Ukraine will have some reforms occur in their country and can slowly become a nation of the West with Western Values.
Nobody wants to see Russia succeed, they have been violating rights in their country as has happened in Canada for some time. It is disgusting.
I still pray for peace everywhere. I still pray for men to have freedoms and a fair and transparent system of justice. Let's hope this ends soon.
