Here is a picture of me prior to cataract surgery. I got the surgery because I knew if I did not "experts" would determine I was a threat to innocent city alcoholics and drug abusers in my woke home city. I seem a little tense in the photo because I can see a chemtrail out of the corner of my eye and I want to get home before it disperses into a liberal cloud.

It is well known that chemtrails cause cataracts and impotence.

I'm glad to hear you will at least be able to see clearly again.

Trust me. Few know how much they need cataract surgery until they have it. You will be surprised how how vibrant and beautiful colors become again--you've probably long forgotten. You will be amazed at the clarity and clearness of vision you've slowly lost and didn't realize it is happening. Even though you can still see chem trails. :)

I still needed glasses after cataract surgery because of extreme astigmatism, but my vision was better than it had been for a very long time.

Hubby doesn't have the astigmatism and after his surgery he was able to pass the eye test without glasses for his driver's license for the first time ever.

So look forward to the surgery. It is amazing and a blessing for millions.

This is weird but the cataract surgery erased my astigmatism. I have 20/20 vision in my right and very close in my left. I think the new lens may have brought the roundness back to my eyeballs.

That's wonderful. So you've already had the surgery.

Mine was improved too but not eliminated. But my eye doc said the only place he had seen astigmatism worse than mine was among the Navajo people. (I'm pretty sure I have no Navajo heritage. :) ) Now the astigmatism isn't a problem but my eyes do become fatigued fairly quickly if I don't wear my glasses.

Yeah, I was struck by the vividness of colors long forgotten after my surgery last year.

I go in this winter for mine. I've put it off too long.

I took my father in today for his second surgery and we go back tomorrow for the follow-up.

He is amazed by his one eye he had already had done 2 weeks ago. He doesn't need glasses anymore except for reading.

I'm guessing he took off the bandage around 6 tonight, put in drops and now has it back on while sleeping.

But he has worn glasses for 50 years....no more need now. (Except for reading) He is absolutely loving it.

They did the eye with astigmatism last time....this is just his nearsighted eye done today without the warped shape. And yes....he said his television is really bright. Almost too bright.

Medicare covers regular lenses but not toric lenses for astigmatism. Uggghhhh. Oh well.

But....at 87....who really cares at this point. He has only a few years left (although he is in great physical condition for his age)
Let's keep it going for as long as possible with as much quality of life as possible. He is having a blast. He has a trip planned next month (with a group) for Airforce museum, Creation Museum and a life sized Noah's Ark.
No big deal whatsoever. He plans on taking lots of pictures....he bought a new good digital camera for it too. I'm like....huh? Whatever....if it makes him happy who really cares?
Just happy he is all excited and doing well.

He did get stoned pretty good by the drugs they gave him to relax. He's happy.
