Rand Paul Warns New US War Powers Act Will Rubber Stamp GLOBAL CONFLICT
Senator Rand Paul warned Tuesday that a new war powers act currently making its way through the Senate will expand the President’s authority to declare war without the backing of Congress, essentially allowing the ‘Commander In Chief’ to wage war any where at any time.

Say what you will, but he was observably correct as current events illustrate.

The latest Iran War Powers Resolution narrowly failed...but...they were able to put everyone who voted for or against it on record.

And that's the name of the game at this point.

For whatever reason, many in congress tend to fight their votes being put on record, depending on the issue at hand. They tend to have a fear of a recorded vote these days. That in and of itself is very telling.
