Tyreek Hill detained: Dolphins WR has 'no idea' why he was handcuffed;

Tyreek Hill, the #1 wide receiver in football was detained, put on the ground and handcuffed for an "alleged" traffic violation today.

The alleged traffic violation has not been yet stated but Hill did not present any resistance, did not threaten the police in any way (not even with words) and yet he was thrown to the ground and handcuffed.

The arresting police officer has been put on "administrative leave" and the Police Captain in charge has given an apology to Hill.

Practice what you preach. Let's see some links. Proof/Data/Facts!

He was on the way to the game. He is the #1 wide receiver in the NFL. Why would he do ANYTHING that could stop him from playing. Keep in mind that if he couldn't play due to his own fault, he would not be paid and he actually makes about $2 million per game. You think he would be so stupid as to do something that would take that away from him?

Oh and by the way, he did end up scoring the winning touchdown in the game.

You just don't have any common sense do you? In addition you are willing to blame him just because he is a Black man and as such, he is more likely to do something bad and stupid than the White Cop that makes less than a couple of thousand dollars a week.

You are hilariously delusional. No surprise, you are a Trumper.L

a traffic violation at the stadium entrance to the game ends up with him being thrown on the floor and handcuffed. The police officer being put on administrative leave ad the Chief Police officer immediately offering an apology and you say that it is not racist? that context has not been provided?

Geezus, you truly are blind-by-choice

I smell bullshit coming from you, brah. What's the real story, hmm?

White Latinos are -- uhm considered to be white.
Latinos are Latinos. They are listed as minorities regardless of their skin tone. A Mexican immigrant of pure Spanish DNA qualifies for the same affirmative action benefits as a Mestizo who is nine-tenths Mayan . Until liberals went looking for something, anything to smear George Zimmerman with, no one had even heard of a white Latino in the USA.

When you employ former military guys who's whole ethos is "you go in with everything you've got, because they might kill you" as police officers.... and then don't train them properly... what could go wrong?

Hill was speeding. He did not cooperate with the officer. He refused to roll down his window to speak with the officer. The problem is with the prima donna football player. Throw the book at him and screw the NFL. This is that privileged double standard that you bitch so loudly about.

Census and other data Non-Hispanic Whites or Non-Latino Whites are White Americans classified by the United States census as "white" and not Hispanic.

Police departments have admitted that they are more forceful with blacks than on others. They don't use lethal force any more than they do on other races, but the use of force is different. The reason they gave was that they encounter more resistance to orders given.
Simple rule: When stopped, do exactly as told and don't give them a negative attitude. Do that and you are back on your way in short order. But, remember this, if there's an active warrant out or you're driving with a suspended, have no license or massively speeding, you're not walking away. If you slap, shove or punch someone, that's assault/battery and you're most likely going to jail, unless the person you assaulted doesn't want to press charges. If you are told by management or staff to leave a bar, restaurant or other business, leave, otherwise the cops can be called and it's off to jail.
If you cooperate and are going to jail, it's no big deal. You can bail out. That happened to me, and I didn't resist, give the cop lip, or try to run. Just got in the patrol car and was bailed out the next day.
They just recently had a Senate Judiciary Hearing on a few new Biden Administration nominees for federal judges. One of the nominees was on the Board of Directors of an organization that believes in eliminating traffic enforcement for such things as speeding and running through lights and stop signs. I found it hard to believe what I was seeing and hearing. Basically, it's just a concept of total anarchy on the roads and let the survivor win.
The Biden-Harris Administration is clearly modeled after the film, "Idiocracy."

Look at your census form next time. One section is called "Race" and includes white, Black, Asian, Native American, and so on; another separate sections asks "Are you a Latino?" and you say yes or no. This is because there are white Latinos, Black Latinos (like in Haiti), Native American Latinos, even some Asian Latinos.

Every job or loan application or other form that asks for your "race" follows the census's lead. So do government studies, demographic studies, anything that distributes resources and so on. You can look at any form and see it plain as day.

The police officer at the center of this was put on administrative leave pretty much as soon as his bosses saw the body cam footage. I found no indication that the Captain ever offered an apology. ESPN's story says that Hill apologized to the officers at the end of it all and shook their hands before leaving.

It's also notable how each party behaved afterwards.

Even before the body cam footage came out, Hill has said from the beginning that he could have been better in how he handled it. He explained that he was trying to prevent a social media frenzy and was on the phone to his agent, which is why he rolled the window back up.

Meanwhile, the head of the police union called Hill "uncooperative" and said after he was dragged from the car he was "redirected" to the ground for officer safety, glossing over the not giving Hill the chance to comply, the knee on the back, and so on. He and at least one cop also lied and said Hill didn't show his ID when he clearly does at the start. Police leadership, on the other hand, immediately put the cop on leave and are investigating the whole thing.

Watching the video pretty much answers all the questions.

I am not here to defend Tyreek Hill. I am here though, for one simple idea. What was done to Tyreek Hill was wrong. It was way too much force and it was not needed. You put up an article about uncooperative? Here is the entire video on him being dragged out of his car and put on the floor. The video includes what Tyreek Hill said, which was "Go ahead and ticket me and let me go. Do what you have to do!". Those were his exact words.

That is not being uncooperative

Someone needs to be hard on immigrants sooner rather than later

If only we had some kind of border czar

First of all, it is easy to check if what teevee said is based on fact or not. All you have to do is check the data and the statistics

blacksvswhites.webp

Secondly and as far as being tough on immigrants, you have to be specific as to what "tough" means. Our "existing" laws are generally followed, meaning that if you want them to be stricter, Congress needs to get together and agree on that. The problem is that for the past 50 years they have not been able to resolve the issue to a mutual agreement. As such, getting stricter is something we all (I mean the voters) have to get stricter and vote people into office that are willing to compromise. In addition, nothing will ever get done that is to the total satisfaction of everyone as that is life. Nothing is ever perfect.

On top of that, immigration is here to stay as the entire world's population continues to grow and that means that more and more people will be having problems in their nations and will want to immigrate. Until we address world population growth, the problem cannot go away. Last but not least, the problem you see as a problem may not be as big of a problem because what you see is likely to be due to teevee and the people you chose to be the leaders lying to you for the benefit of getting elected.

Most people see things as they are told and as it suits THEM and not as it actually is.

As such, it is likely that it is you that is looking at too much teevee and listening to the liars that want your vote.

America has a problem with it's police in general. When law suits come flying in, the officer(s) should lose all their assets etc.. towards the compensation bill before the State picks up the rest of the tab. That might start to make cops learn the law.
