I believe when we grow up we learn from our environment (parents, relatives, school, friends, strangers, people on the street) etc. our identity, i dont believe we choose ourselfes our racial identity you cant be black and say you are white? Or white and say you are asian? I believe we learn our identity we have only very small part in our identity eventhough the census says its self-identification, right?
