Its the most densely populated place in America. If people didnt love it, they wouldnt live there. I'd gouge my eyes out before living in Kansas, but people love Kansas too.I was there a few years ago staying with a relative who lived on 5th Avenue overlooking Central Park. Sucked then and still sucks. Neat to visit, but even living in luxury compared to most other people, it was a dive in comparison.
Sure. Nothing worse than a world class city with thousands of amazing restaurants, iconic structures, world class shopping, the most amazing city park on earth and real movie scenes on every corner. Its a great place if you have money.
Who is against immigrants? Illegal immigrants are a different story. Democrats don’t seem to understand the difference.
Sure, with scammers, and thieves everywhere you go…So again, you love NYC, but choose the live in NC…Why?Sure. First reasonable response Ive seen from you recognizing that people have their own preferences for what they like and that is ok with you. Kudos.Yes, I figured you would be a city person. Most Democrats are. Safety in numbers I guess.
I am very glad that so many like it. I don’t live in the boonies, but I can easily get to a place and have some peace and serenity anytime I would like and quickly. I still have access to venues that host Broadway shows, access to very nice restaurants(we have several culinary schools in our state) and there is a Starbucks, if you like that sort of thing, 1 mile from my house. We also have beautiful lakes and parks. All of this plus lower taxes, much nicer homes for the money and nicer people. But hey, to each his own.
Neither does Cheeto Hitler, since he's rounding up legal immigrants as well as illegal ones.

To help everyone, not select groups.
Taking from some to give to others.
Wealth redistribution is not a foundational principle of the US.
Government’s role should be to protect property, not redistribute it.
But for the last 40 years, we've seen wealth redistribution, away from the working class and to the investor class.
Maybe we need to reverse that trend.
