Walking off the court just because of fan behavior? Kids need to toughen up. A perfect world isn't guaranteed to anybody.

---"Unfortunately, the game ended, the East Ramapo players left Scarsdale feeling dejected and disrespected, and a day intended to bring communities together for a common purpose was tainted,” they said. racial slurs arent the same as boos and shouting you suck at the opposing team .. the crowd should be ashamed .

Back in the early to mid 80s, there was a team in our conference that refused to play one of the other teams for years (taking a forfeit loss) due to chants of “n*****rs” coming from the crowd. Of high school kids. They were the one school in our conference whose district bordered a large (for our area) city school district. No excuse for that kind of behavior.

Racial slurs are horrible, but they don’t give you the right to do anything you want.
