Question: Is Being Critical of the State of Israel the Same as Being Antisemitic? Please Aware Me

They seem to be interchangeable terms. Even Trump is making noises which conflate the two. Is this technically correct? What is the real definition of antisemitic? I know lots of American Jews who hate Israel and will have nothing to do with Israelis. They think they are racist.

If you assess the actions of the State of Israel in a way that is different from the way you would assess the actions of any other country, your assessment may be tinged by anti-Semitism.

For example, a country won a war that they did not start in 1967, and took the territories of Samaria and Judea as a result of that conflict. Now here we are more than 50 years later, the entire world refuses to acknowledge their sovereignty over those areas, referring to them as "occupied territories." What other country would be insulted in this way? It is absurd. Israel was invaded on October 7, in a vicious and atrocious attack which killed more than a thousand Israeli civilians. And Israel is excoriated if it does not aggressively facilitate humanitarian aid going to the party that STARTED THE WAR!

I could go on. You get the point. Israel is held to a standard like no other country in the world. People who fled from "Palestine" in 1947 - three generations ago!- are still considered "refugees," with THEIR OWN refugee agency at the UN (all other refugees in the world have a single agency representing them), which agency is run by HAMAS(!).

What standards is Israel held to that others are not? I don't see any other country that just killed 65,000 children.

I do not understand how that happened. In their own backyard. Their Mossad are good. We have our intelligence agencies also. How did Islamic radicals in Gaza build the infrastructure what they did with no one noticing? Israel promotes surviving every day and this happens. I see no other way to stop this unless wealth is built in the middle east for as many people possible. And even that may not be enough. We will find out soon enough here.
