Question for those who watch Beck on Fox:

So nobody is going to point out that it was stupid fucking question to begin with? They weren't fucking Power Rangers, they were the Founders of this country.

Glenn Beck is a retard with a thesaurus. Too bad that he doesn't realize that there were a shitload of Progressives in that group of founders.

Because lots of Americans have a favorite among the Founders... and while I can't attest to what Beck does or does not know about the Founders - I am pretty confident that anyone who studies those great men would see that all of the were 'progressives' in their own way. After all, they committed treason to found a great nation. However, what they were not is socialist. Let's not pretend that 1700's progressives and 2010 progressives have anything in common. That, mo chara, is laughable. How many of the founders do you think would agree with Nanny States? And, before you answer, you better know your shit about the founders because I certainly do.

Was this supposed to scare me off or something? You obviously don't know me that well, yet. So lets do this-

Sure. Usually the favorites are something like, Ben Franklin or George Washington. You know the ones you learned about in Pre-K right after snack time. They are your favorite, because they chopped down a cherry tree or discovered electricity, not because they favored strong legislative over a strong executive.

After all, they committed treason to found a great nation.

Yep.

However, what they were not is socialist. Let's not pretend that 1700's progressives and 2010 progressives have anything in common. That, mo chara, is laughable.

This is where you veer off into opinion and find yourself running in circles screaming SOCIALIST and hoping nobody notices. The two are different. My point was that Beck likens the two, progressives and socialists. They are not. We are all progressive. Hell George W. Bush was progressive. DHS was was of the largest expansions of government since the New Deal, yet it is only now that Beck has decided that being a progressive is bad. What they have common is the desire to make this country better.

And, before you answer, you better know your shit about the founders because I certainly do.

I could give shit what you think you know and I don't scare easily. The question was stupid and you will have to forgive me if I hold the people that I will potentially vote for to a higher standard. This woman could potentially run for President. She has already run for VP and she seems to speak for my party whether the RNC wants her too or not. She was asked a question that likened our founding fathers to a football team. Was it too much to ask this woman what the duties of the President are how she would discharge them differently? Perhaps we could get a comparison of the of the Boston Tea Party and today's Tea Party movement. How would you reduce the deficit? Any fucking thing. These people make my party look bad. They make people who believe what I do look bad. They make conservatives in general look bad. You should be just as appalled as me, but apparently you are just another sheep. Too bad.

The question was stupid and the answer was stupid. No knowledge about the Founding fathers is going to change that. The fact that you think differently is laughable.

They were also NOT conservative. Or we would be bowing down before a queen instead of disrespecting and slandering a good president by falsely accusing him of being a socialist.

In light of the KC interview, Sarah Palin could have given a "smarter" answer.

Example:

"Many Americans admire only a few of the founders because they are so well known. You could even say men, such as, "John Adams, Samuel Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson" have become American Icons, but considering their heroism and contribution to this country, I admire all them equally".

There is a pattern here. When Sarah Palin is reading a speech off a teleprompter or off her hand, she seems conversant on foreign policy with China or Russia. She understands energy policy.

But when asked a question "off the cuff", she is a deer caught in the headlights. She has no opinion on anything. She repeats slogans. "You betcha".

Those are obvious observations, not slander.

I could not care any less about Palin.

I care about the left suddenly trying to lay claim to the founding fathers - as though that give some credibility. Read the Constitution - then come back and tell me exactly where in there it says that the government is supposed to take care of everyone. And does give me and shit about 'general welfare' - because I will blow it out of the water.

The founders deliberately constituted this country to be completely and utterly the opposite of the totalitarianism of every other country that existed. They wrote us just enough law to keep the country from anarchy. They got it wrong first time around and rehashed it a second time. That worked. That is what we are supposed to be. So please don't pretend that the Founders were 'liberals', they were anarchists! They wanted as much freedom as possible, without descending into chaos. Fact. Find out for yourself.

No, mo chara, I'm not a sheep. I find the GOP to be a party of dishonest corrupt bastards... much the same as the dems. I hold them in equal disdain... that's why I support the TEA parties. Because I am sick of both sides playing us all for fools.... setting democrat against republican etc. when, in reality, we should kick 'em all out. They are corrupt. Washington is infected with a virus and I will be happy to see it burned to the ground rather than allow these people to keep on lining their own pockets and playing dirty political games with the lives of ordinary Americans. I like liberals. I like democrats. I like genuine republicans and conservatives.... the people I dislike are in DC.

I study the founders to this day.... I read a lot of books about them and their writings. I like to know about the people who founded this nation. I think it's important to know them. I don't have a favorite.... I think they were all incredible men. I wish we had such men among us today.
