IS it a precursor quake or was it the release quake..... ?? Finding many smaller quakes in the area so it could well be a release quake..

I was laying on the couch on the phone, didnt move .....nothing new. Love me some earthquake. My kids didnt even flinch.
Just to give some a perspective of how it goes down.

Felt like somebody was bumping my chair and desk. A rocking quake rather than a rolling one. First report I heard was that it was a 6.6 centered in Death Valley, 200 miles from here.

Who knows? The 6.4 was the biggest, followed a few minutes later by a 4.2. There is a lot of seismic activity in that area - good thing it's pretty desolate.
