President Putin made an agreement with North Korean president Kim Jung. That if North Korea is attacked, Russia will come to their aide. or if Russia is attacked , North Korea will come to their aide.!! I saw this on the news today. The BBC Intl News.

No one is going to attack North Korea. Not because they're scared of Russia's whole military being in the Ukraine... but because A) China and B) North Korea has nukes and C) what's the point? North Korea doesn't have oil, or other minerals people want, so it'd be a waste of time, except for South Korea which is STILL AT WAR WITH NORTH KOREA.

Nothing like a showy statement to make the guy giving you weapons feel good about himself.

Russia is far more worried about the expansion of EU than of NATO... The EU social democratic (anti corruption, workers rights....) makes countries richer by creating fair trade and equal rights...
This undermines countries with run by dictators and corruption (i.e. Russia, Belarus...), their population will evetually ask why is our life shit and everyone else doing so well... The propaganda can only go so far...

It is not perfect and it takes time, Victor Orban and Hungry are particularly annoying to EU. Hungry is the largest accepter of aid per catia in Europe. Orban is corrupt or he has a lot of explaining to do, himself has amassed a €600 million and his family has got rich while getting lucrative government contracts. Orban made it all legal in Hungry, EU wasn't really ready for that.
I think they are waiting to sort out Ukraine before they drop the hammer on him... Hungry could be effectively ejected from EU Grants and voting rights..
