Republicans couldn't find a way to compromise on a small bill that would have given temporary jobs to veterans in our National Parks and Forest doing much needed maintenance and repair work when they returned from combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. A much need controlled reentry program recommended by PTSD experts that would have solved several pressing problems for our returning veterans in one program.
