Prosecutors charge 19 in North Carolina with voter fraud

Yep, voter fraud never happens. That's what the SJW douchebags keep telling us.

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Federal prosecutors in North Carolina announced voter fraud charges Wednesday against 19 non-citizens accused of illegally casting a ballot in 2016.
Each defendant voted in a federal election in 2016, and one defendant also voted in 2018, according to a news release from United States Attorney Matthew G.T. Martin’s office. In some instances, the defendants were also charged with related offences such as making a false statement.
The news release did not list the defendants’ nationalities or say how their alleged crimes had been uncovered, although it said the matters had been investigated by Homeland Security Investigations, an investigative arm of the Department of Homeland Security.
Brief charging documents provided few details about any of the allegations. Many defendants did not have an attorney listed in court records.
The Associated Press attempted to contact all defense attorneys who were listed, reaching only two.
Helen Parsonage, who is representing three of the defendants, declined comment on the merits of the charges but said her clients would be “vigorously defended.”
“These cases are clearly timed for partisan political purposes,” she wrote in an email.
Another attorney, J. Scott Coalter, declined comment on his client’s behalf but noted he found it “rare to have the U.S. attorney for the Middle District handling misdemeanour cases.”
Shocking! Illegal non US citizens voting-- who woulda thunk it?
Free ID to vote!

An impressive .0004 % of the NC vote total.

Huge problem for Trumpybear in a state that he won. I always knew he was an illegitimate president......

After four years, the timing seems suspicious

Very few details

We're a nation of 330 million

Yea some voter fraud happens, surprise? lol

What would cause you to doubt this? Any claims tehre was no voter fraud is absurd.

That's like saying cocaine submarines don't exist because we had never caught one in action.

Not how crime works, not having charges isn't proof it doesn't go on.
A sampling of other recent election fraud cases and convictions from across the US.

If you read the Lin
The story is very vague

It does not seem to be talking about illegal aliens but legal residents who somehow voted.
It is also not clear if they declared themselves citizens on voter registrations
If you read the link it says, "Federal prosecutors in North Carolina announced voter fraud charges Wednesday against 19 non-citizens accused of illegally casting a ballot in 2016." And "In some instances, the defendants were also charged with related offences such as making a false statement."The false statements are presumably claiming to be a US citizen.

Wow, 19 people?! And they got caught showing the system of checks works. Great OP!
How do you know it works? Do they have a list of people they didn't catch?
It works because they have a list of people they catch

There is no evidence that mail-in voting does not lead to massive voter fraud.

Nor is there any security mechanisms built in to guarantee that.

There are many more. The education system has endless political activists so does people involved with voting and fraud.
How do you know there are many more? You think there are that many people out there risking felonies just to get some extra votes?

They don't have a list of people they don't catch. Don't you see the problem with your "logic?"

It's a very small risk.

What makes you say it’s a small risk? Do you think the 12 people being charged with felonies you mentioned in the OP would agree that it’s a small risk?
