"Professor sanctioned for alleged discrimination against white students
An Indiana University professor created a “hostile educational environment” for white students in his class through comments made over the course of a semester, according to a recent decision by Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs Carrie Docherty.

Marcus Croom, an assistant professor in the School of Education, was accused by a former student of making repeated negative comments about white people throughout one of his courses in the spring of 2024. The student, Michael Claycamp, alleged that Croom made remarks that “white teachers are white supremacists” and said he’d rather not associate with white people over the course of the class."

He got a slap on the wrist. I wonder what would happen to a white professor?

"About Me
As a race critical researcher and an experienced educator, my mission is to cultivate more human fulfillment and mitigate human suffering. I launched my research career through the Literacy, Language and Culture program, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, in the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. My dissertation study (Croom, 2018) investigated teachers’ conceptualization(s) of race in literacy instruction with Black children. This work makes a theoretical and empirical contribution to the fields of Education and Literacy."

2nd and 3rd best English teachers I had were black. Everything wasn't "racism, racism, racism" back then, either.
The only thing "critical" was thinking.

The lady that taught Virginia History at my middle school was black....Miss Barbour. One of the best teachers I ever had.

One thing she taught always stuck with me.....You never abbreviate the name of your home state. It was considered disrespectful.

When the school system expanded and the fussing over naming them started, only one name won unanimous approval. Hilda J. Barbour elementary school. :)

First off, the term "Black Professor" comes across as a bit of an oxymoron. Secondly, why are people still getting high interest, student loans to go to these woke indoctrination centers called "universities?" Seems like a huge waste of time and money to me.

Even more amazing is the "conservative" that will spend money on tickets and swag to their sporting events.

Hey dumb shits, it goes to support the very indoctrination centers you claim to disapprove of.

Agreed. I wouldn't spend a dime going to a modern, professional sport event. I don't even watch them on TV since the NFL "took the knee" and since Nascar's "Noose-gate" and since the well-paid baseball stars went on strike for even more money. Pro sports are a gigantic distraction.

she must have had a terrible time getting students to write out the full name of Rhode Island.

"The state was officially named the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations "

I always have trouble getting Virginia in on the little block they give you on the 4473 form when buying a gun. ;)

That's professional sports. He was talking about college sports.
