Sure. What makes religions "not exist anymore"? Could conquest, proselytizing, and conversation have anything to do with it?

Could be a number of reasons… in the ancient times warfare could be quite violent. And both sides could have been attempting to impose their will onto others and the consequences were the consequences. Thats only one example.

It is certainly also the case that through history religions have appealed to people who saw them as loving, enticing, having so much to offer that they left their former religion and joined a new one.

Attempting to convert someone (and in this video, specifically Orthodox Jews and, specifically at the Jaffa Gate), by definition, is rude and aggressive. That is sort of my point.

my friend It is incorrect to say that woman was being rude or aggressive. Because what that does is it lends support even if it is a tiny bit to the ideology of the people who attacked her. Not the attack itself, but the ideology behind it. She did nothing wrong. It’s not rude or aggressive. It would be rude or aggressive if she was going around saying that “non-Christians are gonna go to the hellfire…. that you need to join my religion or else faced the consequences”. But that’s just not the case.She cannot be called rude or aggressive because of the evidence of her waving around the Israeli flag saying God blesses Israel.

And one could also say, the woman in the video was simply at times celebrating Jesus. There is no hard-core conversion attempt there. Beside that there’s plenty of other videos showing orthodox nuns, and other Christians simply being spit on for walking, not even saying anything just walking down the street in Israel.

Well, before making a blanket judgement against Jews in Israel, can we have a little more context as to why she was there with a microphone and camera? All of those individuals actions were inexcusable anyways, but still, are they going to treat the average non Jew in that manner? There is probably more to this.
