"Civilized people don't put up with barbaric behaviour. Would it have been civilized to put folks like Hitler in prison? No, it would have been an affront to civilization. I don't care if the victim is a sports star or a floor sweeper. a life is a life. and if you criminally take an innocent life you'd better be prepared to forfeit your own. 100 percent of folks who are executed never commit another crime, folks. a lotta folks who might otherwise commit a capital crime are convinced not to do so because they know they would die for it"

Our "christian" nation decided vengeance is not the lord's after all, long, long ago. And the notion that some jackass can play to a sick twisted crowd that he's fine with other folks putting still yet others to death while we wail about beheadings and honor killings is utter mob insanity. But it gives us meaning, so it will continue unabated regardless of whom you vote for; silly to suggest otherwise.
