• Parliament was going to fire him.
• So Trudeau offered to resign to avoid being fired.
• Then Trudeau contacted the Governor General who is liaison to the King and asked that the Parliament be dissolved so they couldn't fire him.

That means that Trudeau will be around at least until March and anyone who replaces him is likely a close buddy of his just like him, so don't expect much there to change.

Not all oil is equal and when you drill in a oil rich area like the Gulf fewer wells are needed...

As I said in one of the many threads on this the republican's in Florida did not and probably still want no drilling in the Eastern gulf. The waters from the panhandle down to the keys would like shit. You ever been to Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi on the gulf and have seen the waters. Looks like shit.

Can you imagine 20 years from now how many businesses from the lack of tourists would cost Florida? You have to consider tourists and the fishing industry.
