President Trump: Making America Normal Again

So I made my New Years Resolution for 2025 which is the same as 2024: I will do my best not to feed the trolls, argue with idiots or engage in other exercises in futility. I estimate I was able to keep it 70% of the time last year and hope to do better this year.

I got an email earlier today that had President Trump's New Years Resolutions when asked.

He quickly responded "I just want everybody to be happy, healthy and well."

But his four big agenda resolutions are:

--Bring peace to Ukraine and Russia
--Secure the border
--Revive the U.S. economy
--Make America strong again

All of which would get us much closer to making America normal again.

There are many goals and objectives within those four things of course but that would be a huge accomplishment in a four-year term, let alone 2025.

Agree with most of that. 1. As long as the Ukraine gets it's territories back and is compensated by Russia for all the infrastructure they destroyed. Getting restitution for all the lives lost wouldn't be possible. The peace has to be honorable , not like the one trump arranged in Afghanistan with the terrorists. 2. Secure the border legally. Increase the immigration courts so they can deal with the massive problem. 3, Fortunately Biden is leaving trump with a good economy, let's hope he doesn't destroy it with his gimmicks. 4. trump.is already weakening America once again. You don't threaten your friends or attempt to.hold them hostage.

Trump is most definitely trolling on a message board - Truth Social. He's threatened Panama, Mexico and Canada. He blames the attack by an American born citizen in New Orleans, to Biden's "open border" policies.

And the day after a national celebration, you doing a national body count and denying you have a domestic terrorism problem.

That's not "normal" in any other first world nation. More and more "normal" in the USA means an acceptable level of violence.

Which brings a counterproductive to the whole idea. And loyalty is never to the person , it is to the country. He should have moved to a country that has dictators and despots. But they would have seen him for what he is , a weak person with big ambitions he can't even begin to fulfill. Sad man indeed.

The majority of Americans who voted for President Trump did so because of the MAGA vision of a strong, secure, free America that offers maximum liberty, options, choices, opportunity and prosperity for all.

That is what is normal America to those people.

So far the cabinet President Trump is putting together are all committed to that vision, but wow, they sure are causing a lot of heads to explode. Nevertheless Trump is moving forward to make the MAGA vision a reality and is putting together the most unusual, interesting, unexpected and unlikely team in American history to accomplish it.

I am a bit curious if the most hard core left aren't at least a little bit curious and interested in how this will all work out. I sure am.

What does a normal America look like to you? Is the Biden Administration agenda and results what you think should be normal? Or are you willing to give the MAGA team the majority of voters voted for a chance?

Setting aside the talking points, partisan rhetoric and propaganda, aren't you a little hopeful that the MAGA agenda, the MAGA team heading government, the resolve to make America great again, will yield good things? Or are you hoping it fails?
