The majority of Americans who voted for President Trump did so because of the MAGA vision of a strong, secure, free America that offers maximum liberty, options, choices, opportunity and prosperity for all.

That is what is normal America to those people.

So far the cabinet President Trump is putting together are all committed to that vision, but wow, they sure are causing a lot of heads to explode. Nevertheless Trump is moving forward to make the MAGA vision a reality and is putting together the most unusual, interesting, unexpected and unlikely team in American history to accomplish it.

I am a bit curious if the most hard core left aren't at least a little bit curious and interested in how this will all work out. I sure am.

What does a normal America look like to you? Is the Biden Administration agenda and results what you think should be normal? Or are you willing to give the MAGA team the majority of voters voted for a chance?

Setting aside the talking points, partisan rhetoric and propaganda, aren't you a little hopeful that the MAGA agenda, the MAGA team heading government, the resolve to make America great again, will yield good things? Or are you hoping it fails?

Two things have happened that have been very intriguing to me.

1. Donald Trump, "Hitler reincarnated, fascist, the greatest existential threat to our Democracy we have ever faced" had a very warm, congenial, supportive and healing meeting with Joe Biden at the White House today.

2. Greg Gutfield, the eternal pessimist and curmudgeon, is excited, enthusiastic, and supportive toward an incoming agenda and leadership team for the first time EVER!

I can see that the military will go back to the original standards for people to make it past boot camp. No more easy going, because those original standards were the ones that made the United States defeat the Nazis in Germany and the Japanese. No more cross dressing clowns, no more beta males, and if the women cannot pass those standards, then so be it. The United States will once again have the Greatest Military in the World, and all the axis of Evils will not try any shit with US.

The whole "We're not going back we're going forward" thing was laughable to me. Yeah going forward is bad when it's forward off of a cilff. And going back is great if it's going back to normal.

We can hope Pete Hegseth will indeed ditch all the DEI social experiments and restore the military to a battle ready force that serves as a deterrent to hostilities. Everybody will know it won't be required to fight a P.C. war and can and will quickly and decisively defeat anybody who challenges it.

The government will spend about $7 trillion this year and I bet very few if ANY of us have seen one single thing the government accomplished with all that money that has improved our lives or provided more long term opportunity for any Americans. The Musk/Ramaswamy team will be tasked to let we the people know how much our resources are being wasted so that Congress and the Administration can stop it.

The military is battle ready. Hegseth is going to mess it up. America has been a social experiment whereby whites have been socially engineered to succeed. Once you understand his, you will see the foolishness in your argument.

The election of trump was based on racism and sexism. If that is normal to you, then you have problems.

Only time will tell if he will be successful, but I believe he is on track to Making America Great Again.

It is exciting to me because for the first time we are going to have mostly people running the government who are not professional politicians, not professional bureaucrats. It will either be a fantastic success or colossal failure, but I can't imagine it could be worse than continuing the policies and mindset of the current administration.

Look what a mess these hack so called 'professional' politicians (taxpayer moochers) made of things.

Oh this is clever. There was a thread with this title, except "President Biden: Making America Normal Again"

Impressive.

Yes. And it is the very unlikely aspect of the Trump team, the totally thinking outside the box aspect to it, that really intrigues me. I think we might be onto something here.

I also took it as a very good sign that the House Republicans unanimously re-elected Mike Johnson Speaker this week. None of the hostility and toxic elements that we saw in the last Congress.
