President Putin Commemorates The End of the Siege Of Leningrad

Leningrad/St Petersburg is Putins home City he lost his older Brother as a child in the siege, also i believe his Uncle in the fighting and his own Father was badly wounded.

Of course he would honor the one million civilians and five hundred military deaths that resulted because of the seige. It's said the population before the siege was 3.2 million people.
