President Mike Huckabee

Oh please put Huckabee in the clown car. Please please please please please.

No, he cannot win the presidency. He is much to focused on social and religious issues. Nominating him would guarantee the dems another 4 years.

He's buds with Ted draft dodger poopy pants poacher child molester, child rapist Nugent. Maybe Ted draft dodger poopy pants poacher child molester, child rapist Nugent would stump for him.

Sounds like a winner to me.

Welcome to the 2016 Republican Clown Car.

:woohoo:

Huckabee won a number of southern states in the 2008 primaries, all of them on Super Tuesday, if I recall. After that, he was dead in the water. Huckabee's greatest challenge would be within the GOP itself: McCainiacs were calling him a "socialist" and with that, put his candidacy to bed.

There have been 53 national polls thus far for 2016, pitting Hillary Clinton in one-on-one matchups against a number of known GOPers, making for 164 matchups. Of those 164, there have been 10 Clinton-Huckabee national matchups:

Clinton +21 (the most recent poll), +5, +9, +13, +7, +14, +17, +3, +15, +6. Hillary was way over the 50 mark in 5 of those ten.

In Arkansas, there have been 4 2016 polls, 15 total matchups, 3 of them against Huckabee, and he has won all three, with +12, +16 and +3.

However, in Florida, there have been 16 polls and 56 matchups. Of those matchups, 3 have been Clinton vs Huckabee, and Clinton has won with +9, +7 and +18. Imagine a Republican losing the Sunshine State by 18 points.

In Ohio, there has been less polling for 2016 thus far. There have been 7 polls, 36 matchups, only 1 of them Clinton vs. Huckabee: Clinton +8.

In Virginia, there have been 15 polls, 34 matchups, 2 of them Clinton vs. Huckabee: Clinton +8 and +15. Imagine a Republican losing Virginia by 15 points.

In terms of polling strength, Huckabee is probably the 2nd weakest GOP candidate, after Ted Cruz, who loses nationally and in many, many states by over 20 points.

I think Huckabee would be an interesting candidate who would do fairly well in Appalachia and the Bible Belt, and terribly in the rest of the nation, including most of the Big Sky states.

From what party? He has stated he would leave the GOP if they didn't fight harder against gay marriage. It doesn't seem the GOP is likely to spend their political capital on a losing issue.

At this point almost anyone should be able to play the cards right and beat a DRUNK, BROKE, MURDERER with a failing brain... Just have to look at all the heavyweights in here that say NO!
