President elect Marco Rubio - 2028???

Of all of the choices that President Trump has made, Marco Rubio is one of the few who truly stands out as absolutely great. While I think J.D. Vance was also another great pick, and a little more on him later, and while Vance has a great future ahead of him, I think Rubio outshines Vance by a small amount. Trump has made several good picks, and some not so good picks, like Pam Bondi who is in more useless than hemorrhoids in a frogs anus.

J.D. Vance has a brilliant future ahead of him, he is smart, a quick thinker and just has loads of potential. Other considerations would Ron DeSantis, he has done an absolutely spectacular job as governor of Florida and unlike Trump he actually knows how to pick a competent AG, he also has a great future ahead of him. While Vance and DeSantis both have great potential as well as what it takes to become president, in my opinion Rubio is the one for 2028.

Rubio has been absolutely spectacular as Secretary of State. While Vance and DeSantis are both very smart and quick thinkers, Rubio in my opinion is just a little quicker in the thinking department than Vance and DeSantis, and that is no negative commentary on Vance or DeSantis, Rubio is rare person who just stands out a little more. The other thing Rubio has where he has an advantage over Vance and DeSantis is that he will get more of the Latino/Latina vote than they will and THAT is a major threat to the Democrats in hopes of getting the presidency in 2028. I like Vance a bit better than Rubio, but make no mistake about it, if Rubio runs for president in 2028, he's got my vote, I will re-register from American Independent for a brief period of time just to vote for Rubio in the primaries. I hate to vote against Vance, but he is younger and for 2028, Rubio is the best hope for the GOP.

When it comes Rubio (or Vance or DeSantis or that matter), none of the Democrat hopefuls has the intelligence to match any of them in a debate.

I won't ever bother again to vote. There is no reason. Already my 17 page ballot mostly blank but Trump?

Or I would let a work colleague lady fill in the locals or Senate. "R" are useless, "D " are criminals.

Rubio has been splendid, but remember, by design, a VP's role is in the background, out of sight, like a shadow figure of the president, while Rubio is naturally out in front, in the public eye as the bow of the ship as Trump Sec. of State.

So I'm not ready yet to declare either a "winner" or a "loser."

You are not President-elect until you have won. We won't know until November 2028 after the election results. We have a long way to go before then. If Vance sys he is running, I am betting Rubio doesn't challenge him. I think they have a deal that he will be VP.
