No one has been deprived. The ACA has serious flaws that need to be corrected and not just be covered up by dumping money into it. Its also all about paying for illegals. 2 things the nation opposes money for illegals and more spending. Democrats lose. Trump will soon start the mass firings f democrats planted in the government
MAGA support for allowing millions of Americans to keep their healthcare coverage signals Senate Republicans' the need to serve their constituency.

Marc Short predicted in an interview on Sunday that Republicans will fold under pressure from Democrats to extend ObamaCare subsidies to end the government shutdown.
“I think, sadly, Republicans are going to cave on this in the end. The bottom line is that Democrats were really shrewd when they put the ObamaCare subsidies in the plan,” Short, who served as former Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff, said on NBC News’s “Meet the Press.”

The ACA is bottomless pit and needs serious problems corrected

Again, the public supports it.

The Trump toadie's plan to slash funding and leave constituents uninsured would be exposed in an honest debate.
The dems are moving the ball on this issue:

"At the White House, even some of Trump’s most hard-line deputies are starting to accept the political risks of letting ACA credits expire and are preparing proposals, three people granted anonymity to discuss the plans said. One includes grandfathering current beneficiaries and cutting off boosted subsidies for new enrollees." https://www.politico.com/live-updat...lks-timeline-schumer-thune-obamacare-00594601

That said, I blame Biden for giving the enhanced benefits to begin with. That man screwed up everything he touched.

Republicans can neither continue to lie about Democrats' efforts to allow millions of Americans to keep their healthcare coverage, nor ignore the demand of their constituents.

Three-Quarters of Public Say Congress Should Extend Enhanced ACA Tax Credits

7 in 10 Marketplace Enrollees Say They Could Not Afford Coverage if Their Premiums Doubled; 4 in 10 Say They Would Expect to Be Uninsured

If all this is true about how many people will lose their healthcare, because of the republicans, then democrats should be happy about how easy the next election is going to be for them.

Please let us know when you lose yours.

I do not presume to speak for candidates of either party, but depriving someone of his health insurance does not inculcate support.

So you predict huge gains for Democrats in 2026?

They are basing it on misinformation provided by the liberal media.
As we knew would happen, Republicans are beginning to realize that blind obedience to Trump by slashing their constituents' healthcare coverage will hurt them in the midterms.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) signaled a willingness to negotiate with Democrats on their health care demands, breaking with her party on an issue at the core of the government shutdown standoff.
In a lengthy post on the social platform X, Greene said she’s “absolutely disgusted” that health insurance premiums could double if the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits expire, even as she stressed her strong opposition to the Obama-era legislation and to health insurance in general.
"... But I’m going to go against everyone on this issue because when the tax credits expire this year my own adult children’s insurance premiums for 2026 are going to DOUBLE, along with all the wonderful families and hard-working people in my district."
