KIEV (Reuters) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said on Thursday that the fatal shooting of a former Russian lawmaker in Kiev was an act of Russian "state terrorism".

Former parliamentarian Denis Voronenkov was killed outside a hotel in the Ukrainian capital earlier on Thursday. Voronenkov fled to Ukraine with his wife last year and was helping the Ukrainian authorities build a treason case against former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovich.

Poroshenko said the killing "is an act of state terrorism on the part of Russia, which he was forced to leave for political reasons," Poroshenko said in a statement.

Sounds like this Mananfort character is a powerful and capable dude. Bet he's done business with the mob on some level, especially considering his connections with the Russians, who's mobs are similar old USA.

One of the two classiest guys I know had SOME connections to the mob. His businesses are and were always respectable, but when you've built a good portion of Vegas and have done so since the 50s, it's pretty easy to have SOME contact with the mob. Really, I bet the other of the two classiest guys I know did business with the mob too. He sold fleets of semi-trucks, and he's 90 years plus. You bet your ass he gave discounts to some high end businesses with SOME link to the mob.
