Pope Leo XIV has made headlines for blessing a chunk of ice. Yes, you read that right, the leader of the Catholic Church was caught on camera blessing a chunk of frozen water. Why would a religious leader of such high stature do something that seems so bizarre, you may wonder. The answer is to raise awareness about climate change. The chunk of ice he blessed was actually a chunk of the Greenland glacier. Blessing the piece of glacier at the “Raising Hope for Climate Justice” conference near Rome, Pope Leo called on world leaders to act boldly against climate change. He was then joined by actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and other attendees in waving a blue tarp around the ice, a ritual meant to draw attention to environmental urgency.

If you only knew what I and other Catholics (though not many, it seems) know about what REALLY is going on.. and has been going on for decades.

You'd be too busy trying to process it all to be worried about this block of ice thing...

But most people prefer to be ignorant about such things.

I didn't...

For one, don't call him the pope. He is not Catholic, and therefore NOT a pope (Dogma). Check out what the saints say about heretics in the papacy.. St Bellarmine and others..

Catholics do not believe in homosexuality or divorce or abortion. Oh sure, Francis spoke against abortion... Big deal. He then turned around and invited an actual abortionist to the Vatican!

None of the alleged popes of the last 65 years has excommunicated "catholic" politicians who are pro abortion, as they would if they were truly Catholic. No, instead, they support them publicly by inviting them to the White House (bidum, pelousi...)!

That's how you know they are NOT Catholic, much less real popes.

People who think that the last (6 or 7?) alleged popes are really popes don't have a clue about what the Catholic Church teaches, have never read papal encyclicals and other documents written throughout the last 2000 years of the Church's history.

If they have done that, they KNOW that the Chair of St Peter is and has been vacant for decades (6, to be exact)

Well, it seems that the Pope believes in the Climate gospel, I wonder if he still believes in the Biblical gospel or he ever did at all.

I wish people would just STOP already

calling heretics "pope"

It's like no one listens to me at all... and yet I'm the only one on this forum (unless someone is hiding what he knows) who knows what is REALLY happening, both in history and in the modern age w/in the Catholic Church.

For the 20th time:

Only a Catholic (someone who accepts all that the Church teaches and always has taught from Day One) can be pope, or even called Catholic. If people would study ancient Church documents, they would realize this truth.

St Bellarmine said (and he is just one of the saints who said this)... that even when a pope is elected in the normative way, meaning he is a valid pope, if he falls into heresy (God approves of all religions is a heresy.... Protestantism is not a heresy any longer is another)

...if the pope falls into heresy, he ipso facto falls from the papacy and OUT of the Church.

So people need to quit calling Leo 14 POPE. He believes the opposite of what has always, for 2000 years been taught. We have no pope at this time.
