Pop-up Ads?

This question has likely been asked a hundred times but I'm wondering how to remove all the advertisements. I thought becoming a "Supporting Member" came with the added benefit of enjoying the site -- commercial free. Am I wrong?

I don't have any pop up ads. Where are they popping up from? Your computer might have a virus or something.
