You can get pretty much authentic moonshine in Va. ABC stores. They even sell it in mason jars for that special authenticity. It barely has a taste and what you can taste is bad. Personally I like Jim Beam or Evan Williams bourbon. Wild turkey is better but too expensive.

I agree with you on most tequilas, but I really like Don Julio silver, Milagro is also very good and smooth. Both have little to no aftertaste
