I learned a shit-load in law school, and in fact I learned how to study in law school.

Ironically, much of what I learned in law school has been rendered moot (that's a legal concept) by corrupt court decisions, outlaws in Congress, and the atrocity of American tort law. But I still know what I know.

A rather surprising thing about my law school education was that I was taught "family law" by a judge who really didn't know what she was talking about. Much of what she taught us was just incorrect. And I have gone through life hearing about people's cases in family court, thinking, "They can't do that, can they?" And they can. Even though I was taught otherwise.
