"The package would fund the government through the 2016 budget year, raise domestic and defense spending, and increase the deficit by hundreds of billions of dollars by extending numerous popular tax credits without paying for them. It lifts the 40-year-old ban on exporting U.S. crude, a long-sought GOP goal that Republicans pointed to as their top win, and delays or suspends several taxes meant to pay for President Barack Obama’s health care law. Democrats won five-year extensions of wind and solar credits and a permanent extension of the child care tax credit, and beat back many GOP attempts to add favored policy provisions to the bill, including several aimed at rolling back Obama environmental regulations."
Almost more interesting than what was in this package to me is the fact that Ryan / politicians decided to ‘announce’ this DURING the debate last night, when most people were watching the debate. WHY couldn’t they wait until today…during the ‘business day’ instead of at night time…during the debate?
It's like how Democrats rammed Obamacare into law in the wee hours of the morning so that Americans wouldn't know what hit them until after they had woken up...
THIS is why no one trusts politicians on either side of the aisle, because they quietly ‘announce’ things like this at the most opportune time for THEM…when the American people will notice it the least.
