This is a simple tactic. I wonder where this stuff comes from. It's total ignorance, but as people don't bother to search for their info, the Koch brothers will see it as money well spent. They can keep millions of people away from supporting PR, by pretending that PR isn't PR.

PR doesn't need a map.

Because if a party requires say, 5% to get a seat in parliament, it can have votes from anywhere.

In the US 5% is about 6 million people. So, you could easily have one person in Wyoming vote for a party and this vote could be the vote that pushes them over the 5% threshold, or the threshold might be 3% or whatever. But EVERY VOTE COUNTS, you can't make a map for one guy voting for one particular party in Wyoming.
