You know, back in the 60s and 70s the big three were coming up with what was thought to be space age technology in vehicle's, and Leno has a jet car that was tried based on the Jeffersons cartoon.

I think that this is the period we are going through once again, and so before long these trends will be proven to expensive, and far to costly in repairs... Once again the technology will be relegated to the dust bins of time.

The only difference today is that the creator's of the new technology has a super budgets that allows their ideas to hold on longer than it did in the past.
