I was diagnosed in '82 but and have, until the last few years, been able to remain active. I have good days and bad but I'm very aware of it getting worse.

Make sure you actually have MS. These days there are big questions concerning misdiagnoses that didn't exist back when I was diagnosed and it can make an enormous difference to your quality of life.

I really don't get that. Why don't we love people enough to end their suffering, painlessly and with dignity. We should all have that option and it should be readily available, inexpensive/free, just as as birth control and abortion should be. As suit is now, christians demand that humans suffer. Misery is a very basic requirement for most, if not all religions.

Another aspect of this is that there's not a damn thing that's special about human beings. They're killing this planet. They kill each other. Mostly, humans do just about as much harm as good.

Why not let them kill already born children with Downs or other 'defects too?

Because once they are born, they are considered to be human and have rights. If you want to move the bar to the moment of conception, good luck convincing everyone to go along with it. Don't know why you want to burden families and society with offspring with serious physical and mental defects.
