As for his finances, they're his finances, and he just went through a multi year, multi million dollar fishing expedition on the faux Russia thing, so it's completely understandable that he would think enough is enough. It's clear that the goal is to find something in some area of his life to force him out of office, and if they get his finances and find nothing, it's on to his underwear drawer. It has nothing to do with governing or doing what's best for the country. If the courts decide the haters can dig through his finances, he'll have to turn them over, but you can bet that the next democrat president had better be prepared for the same thing. Ultimately, this is a bad path to be on, and letting partisan blinders prevent you from thinking this won't be used on other presidents is foolish.

I already gave you a reason why Trump might not want to release his financial information. The fact that other presidents have released tax information is meaningless. We remain a nation of laws, and until the law compels Trump to release information, he doesn't have to.
