Well. There's drone footage. So it'll be pretty obvious that there where people clinging to the wreckage and that that wreckage was vaporized. Both the house and Senate armed services have said the will investigate.

Your article did not include a denial of the order or the statement. If it did. Please quote it. Calling the report a generic fake news doesnt address the accusations. He could easily be talking about the WaPo assessment it was an illegal killing vs the facts they reported.
