Perhaps we should consider making the Philippines the 51st state.

The Philippines has a population of slightly more than 100 million people. On paper, it appears they may make a good state if we accepted them into the union. They country is one of the most religious in the world. They are about 99% Christian and the pope's largest crowds on visits have easily been in the Philippines, with the largest being 6 million gathering in one location. The president of the Philippines has executed over 12,000 drug dealers since entering office in June of 2016. Abortion is illegal. The highest tax rate is 32%. The country has relaxed gun laws and they would likely be very pro second Amendment. I have read that they have a high opinion of America as well.

Greenland, the Philippines, and Kurdistan would all make excellent additions to the United States in my opinion.

Hell, soon we're going to have a hard time holding onto the states we currently have. Dumb idea.

How 'bout nooooooooooo?

Well Mexico is about 83% catholic and they are a lot closer and since the US took most of Mexico's land beyond the Rio Grande decades ago. It seems like a nice fit. A lot of Americans speak Mexican Spanish is a plus also.

The Philippine Republic is a tremendous country, no doubt about it.

But I don't know why they would want to be part of America. They have their own tremendous President.

A friend of mine is planning to retire in a few years to the Island of Luzon in the Philippines, he's married to Filipino broad.

I've known several Filipino's that worked in the U.S. for years until they retired.
Then moved back to the Philippines and lived like kings on their retirement income. ...
