Pentagon Study: Putin Has Asperger’s

A 2008 Pentagon study obtained by USA Today on Wednesday theorizes that Vladimir Putin has Asperger’s syndrome, a disorder that falls on the autism spectrum. The report, written by the Office of Net Assessment, suggests the Russian leader has “an autistic disorder which affects all of his decisions,” though the report authors also note they could not prove that without studying him physically. Brenda Connors, an expert in movement pattern analysis, said in the report that the findings are based on studying Putin’s movement, which say “the Russian President carries a neurological abnormality.”

Vladimir has Asperger's? That's hot!

Like when they did the analysis on Hitler....
Amazingly, this profile of hitler was done long before WWII ended. Studies were from 1931 - 1945 and are almost eerie in the diagnosis by the OSS.

OSS Psychological Profile of Hitler
If what you quoted isn't a complete farce and parody (the way it is written is laughable at times) then it is just garbage.

Try reading what you post before posting it....in the what "Hitler might do" section it only covers his potential deaths, what?

Not at all does it offer any insight to his potential behaviors.

You came to that conclusion without reading it. I read it in 1958 and was amazed at how Hitler's actions were analized even before he committed his atrocities. You are dismissed.

Is this from The Onion ?

"The 2008 report cites Dr. Stephen Porges, who is now a University of North Carolina psychiatry professor, as concluding that "Putin carries a form of autism." However, Porges said Wednesday he had never seen the finished report and "would back off saying he has Asperger's."

Instead, Porges said, his analysis was that U.S. officials needed to find quieter settings in which to deal with Putin, whose behavior and facial expressions reveal someone who is defensive in large social settings. Although these features are observed in Asperger's, they are also observed in individuals who have difficulties staying calm in social settings and have low thresholds to be reactive. "If you need to do things with him, you don't want to be in a big state affair but more of one-on-one situation someplace somewhere quiet," he said."

Much ado about nothing and if Putin has a thing for Ass Burger's so what.

No one would expect the White House to comment on the whether or not a head of state has Asperger's syndrome but Josh Ernest pretty much let us know what the thinking is in the Pentagon, State Department and White House when he commented on the situation in Ukraine: "But, you know, it [sanctions] has not resulted in the kind of decision-making that we would like to see from the Putin regime that would cause them to actually live up to the kind of commitments they made."

White House won't comment on Putin-Asperger's

<snip>

The questions about Putin's state of mind come as western officials weigh sending arms to Ukraine to fend off Russian-supported rebel groups. Earnest said the United States was reassessing its decision not to send lethal aid while it continues "a strategy of putting intense pressure on the Putin regime by putting in place sanctions."

Those sanctions have been successful in crippling the Russian economy, Earnest said. "But, you know, it has not resulted in the kind of decision-making that we would like to see from the Putin regime that would cause them to actually live up to the kind of commitments they made."
