Trump and MAGA are the conservative movement, nothing has been abandoned.

Conservativism has always been autocratic and authoritarian, fearful of positive, beneficial change, inclusion, and expressions of individual liberty.

Conservatives seek to compel conformity and punish dissent; nativist hostility to immigrants and immigration is consistent with white grievance politics and racist replacement theory.

The only difference is that Trump and MAGA are open and out front about rightwing racism, bigotry, and hate.

Coming from the side that silences, debunks, and locks away dissents, disarms the people and holds degeneracy as the highest virtue, your claims are laughable.

Most of them barely know what the Heritage Foundation is.

They seldom read past the crawl on their tv screens, and get their news from anonymous know nothings on social media.

A peek behind the curtain at who and where the real money is does not interest them.

They prefer to be manipulated by groups like Heritage than informed about it.

They want it simple.

Headlines and tabloids, and right wing talk radio with pictures.

Despite Trump's efforts to get Pence hung on January 6, he appears to be as strong as ever, a major embarrassment for Trump!

Pence has raided the far right Heritage for more than a dozen members who will join his nonprofit organization. This probably deals a death blow to the Heritage Foundation, its Hitler loving Nick Fuentes and its president Kevin Roberts. I would not want to have been around when Trump heard this; I bet it took a long time to clean the ketchup off the wall!

The other side of this coin, is that including Congress, a lot of Republicans are bailing on Trump. They read the tea leaves and know that a mid-term slaughter is coming!!
