A group of six Israelis were asked to refrain from participating in Australian ultra marathon runner Pat Farmer's Peace Run, as it passed the Jewish communities of Eli and Shiloh in Samaria, north of Jerusalem. The group - which was organized by the Yesha Council in conjunction with Regavim - had coordinated with Farmer's team ahead of time to ensure that Jews and Palestinians could run together in a true show of coexistence.

Even though Israel is the reason there is no peace, the PA should've let the Jewish runners participate.

If it had been the other way round and it was the Israelis stopping the Palestinians from taking part you would have been amongst the most vocal detractors and would have been holding this up as another example of Israel's apartheid, racism, abuse and all the other things you blame Israel for.

The whole point of the marathon was to showcase and promote peaceful co-existence between Palestinian Muslims and Jews.

That's a little difficult to do when you shut-out one group or the other.

It was, however, 'telling', that the Palestinians were the ones to refuse the presence of their opposites.

Ever the dumb-asses, the Palestinians merely add more grist to the mill, of those who say they do not want peaceful co-existence with the Jews.

They can't even get it (the Public Relations angle) right, in connection with a phukking foot race.

Not the brightest crayons in the box, from a Public Relations perspective, added to a long list of others where the Palestinians have made screwed the pooch and made mistakes that your average fifth-grader would have avoided.
