Zone1 Peace between Catholics and Protestants!

There will never really be peace between heretics and true Christians

Jesus said so

He said that He came not to bring peace but a sword. He also said that His followers would be "hated by all because of [Him]"

Mk 1313
Mt 1022

who are the two?
who is a heretic?

Anyone who believes something about Christ that is not true.

Non-Catholics believe you can be saved outside His Church (Catholic), but that is heresy and was condemned as such by not just one Council in history. Extra ecclessium nulla salus

That is Latin for

Outside the Church there is no salvation

not even Catholics would say so today.

Except Protestants, and of course the oldest Christian church (Eastern Orthodox) believe that they are within his church to use your vernacular.

Remember most Protestant movements were not against God's teachings, but about the massive corruption within the Catholic Church itself.

There was never what I would call "massive corruption" in the Church (long ago).

However, what's ironic to me is that those who complain about corruption in the Church at the time of Luther always overlook (neglect to speak of) what is happening in the modern Vatican.

When I tell people the Catholic Church is not there in the Vatican any longer, I get blank stares-- or the internet equivalent thereof... seems odd that few have an interest in Most Important Person Who Ever Lived -- and the Church He truly founded.. That is very disturbing.

Instead, people hang onto a "church" because of the social benefits and other selfish concerns. Some are just cults

They disagreed. One reason for the Peasant's War was over all the mandatory tithing money going to aggrandizing the Church and not the poor.
1. Every town and village shall be entitled to elect and to dismiss its preacher if he misbehaves. The preacher shall preach the gospel simply, straight and clear, without any human additions, for it is written that we can only attain God through true faith.

2. The preachers shall be paid from the great tithe. Any surplus shall be used to help the village poor and pay the war tax. The small tithe shall be abolished, for it was invented by humans, for the Lord, our God, created livestock free for mankind.

That's not Biblical, and when you attempt to consign someone else to being outside Christ, you had better have a solid Biblical foundation. You do not.

The Church has always had many sinners in it.

It does not cease to be Christ's Church, however...

Mt 1618 and so on

They agreed. They did not want to be part of a Man's church they thought was corrupt, and would do nice things like, torture you to death.
well, i see you believe the lies and caricatures of the CC

and not the truth. The Inquisition is likely the most lied about event in history.. Then also, there's the protestant cover up of the priest murders in the 16th century

Dude, I showed pictures of the actual building, and stated reasons by the Peasants rebelling against corruption in the church.

A reminder, you are the one speaking of "no reconciliation" nonsense.

I have ancestors who fled to the New World to escape the persecution. Give it up already.
