GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan sees no place for the Obama Administration's contraception mandate.

At a Saturday campaign event in Orlando, Fla., the Associated Press reports that Ryan was asked about whether he would press Vice President and fellow Catholic Joe Biden on his views in relation to the 2012 Democratic Party platform.

Ryan's answer turned straight to the piece of Obamacare providing birth control access. He vowed to remove that requirement for insurance providers, including Catholic hospitals and universities, on "day one."

"It will be gone," Ryan told onlookers at the University of Central Florida. "I can guarantee you that."

Why does Ryan hate women? I guess he thinks insurance coverage for Viagra and penis pumps is okay.

Mitt won't permit him to do anything except mop the West Wing.

It sounds more like he just doesn’t want to be elected – and of course he’ll get his wish.

Apparently the plan is to continue to steer the campaign to the hard right until defeat on Election Day.

I dont think most people want to pay for other people's lifestyles. And for Catholics the mandate violates their religious precepts. So Obama gets a double: socialist and anti-religious. There's a path to victory.

Women have LEGALLY been allowed to play GOD since 1973, so why should the federal government mandate that private health insurance companies be required to pay for birth control?

It should be very obvious to everyone that Lakhota hates unborn babies AND freedom of religion.

Find yourself a girlfriend that will smoke your "peace pipe", Lakhota. It will relieve all of the pent-up stress you obviously have.

So, it's okay for insurance to pay for Viagra and penis pumps - but not female contraceptives? I don't get it...

And why would you have a problem with this?

Why do Democrats hate Freedom? Certainly in Constitutional terms, Ryan's on better footing with the First Amendment. What Obama's doing is "prohibiting the free exercise thereof". What do you guys got? Anything in the Constitution that would require American citizens to purchase birth control products for women who don't want to pay for them themselves?

It isn't ******* ok for insurance to pay for Viagra or Penis pumps. Not after I get done with it at least!

Then why aren't you condemning it? It's okay with Paul Ryan.

It's OK for insurance to pay for contraception too. It is not OK for the FedGov to mandate they do so.
I realize teh distinction is lost on a moron like you.
