What is this? A democrat actually getting in a bit of trouble when they do something wrong?

Oh thats right. He was sentenced to 5 days in jail, oh but he didn't do that many. He did 2 and got credit for time served and good behavior knocked out the other with him doing one "day in jail" working for the court. This guy drove drunk, wrecked his car and injured someone. For everyone else, that would be a felony.

For PP, it's a misdemeanor. He gets 3 years probation, big whoop.

Well, at least some citizen who suffered for his actions is going to get a large payout - if he/she gets a good attorney. Pelosi is scum and Karma's a bitch!

Let me guess, he will sue the person he hit and injured to pay for his legal fees............and win.

If it were in NY, he’d have lost his license too. But if they do that in California, it ain’t no big deal for Paul. His drivers can still drive.

WHAT???? No pleading the 5th?

Jesse claims the witness is a immigrant farm worker and he got a new vehicle.....but doesn't want to talk to anyone.

Guiseppi Aiello complex.

lol. zero time served.

You can't plea the 5th at that point. You do that when you're being investigated. Not after you've been charged. The only options are guilty or not guilty. He pled guilty because he was guilty as sin.

His remaining one day will be served through a court work program. Pelosi will be on probation for three years and pay upwards of $1,700 in fines.
The court also ordered an interlock ignition device to be installed on his vehicle for one year, restitution to remain in the court's jurisdiction and his attendance in a three-month drinking-driver class.

Sentence is commensurate with his record and age with a guilty plea.

Oh the horror. The horror.

An ignition interlock?! O! The humanity.

Actually, if that’s CA. law and they don’t suspend driving rights on a first offense of this kind, I don’t care about his sentence not including a license suspension.

Also, I don’t care that he didn’t immediately plead guilty, either. Even guilty people are entitled to the benefits of legal advice. And the initial plea of not guilty is legally just a place holder anyway.

In my state, an interlocking ignition is only installed after multiple offenses. And even multiple offenses don't rise to felony level. DUI is a Class 1 misdemeanor, punishable by up to 24 months confinement, and $2500 fine.

First offenses are usually 12 months suspended, loss of license for 12 months, though a temporary license for work purposes only can be given, mandatory driving school, $500 fine, and SR-22/FR-44 insurance for 3 years.

Not with a crash with injuries. That's a felony.

Wrong.

Sentence is commensurate with a democrat who got caught drinking and driving because they crashed into someone injuring them.

This dude CAUSED AN ACCIDENT WITH INJURIES. That is a FELONY. Unless you're a democrat.

Not according to the states laws apparently.

What you want doesn't count.
